GRAVICAL.
this was our first real bouldering competition,
got exposed for the first time to the true world of climbing.
i think before this we had sort of a veil over our eyes,
and had quite a lot of confidence.
it was because we didnt know our competition well,
and thought at the most it would just be TJ.
but we certainly got owned.
the routes were much harder than expected,
i think i could actually do most of them but i was too excited and didnt keep calm.
got pumped very easily and couldnt hold on to the crimps on the wall.
but the footwork was very good, maybe because the wall was very rough and nice to smear.
and what a freaking high wall.
highest ive been on so far.
the drop down was quite far, got hangtime somemore.
and maybe this was the reason for those injuries, 2 of them in the end.
so, i got 29th/162.
not a very good record, but i cant complain.
maybe our competition was a bit tough,
because most of them were older than us.
and had much more years of climbing than us.
considering inter-jc, im 9th.
oh well next comp next comp...
