we took in j1s already, the team has been confirmed.

even though the turnup was so good, about 30 plus people?

we only could take in about 15 people. thats like even worse than odac.

however, the people who applied and came for trainings already knew their chances of getting in.

i really respect all those people who still put in the effort to come, even though they knew the odds.

after 3 selection trainings, we finally have our j1 team.

and it looks awesome. i admit, the guys as a whole are much stronger than us.

i see a bright future for the team now man.

the only sad thing that came out of the selection was jarryl.

i thought his climbing was quite good, he was damn friendly and enthusiastic too.

always talked to me when he was in my group.

and then irwan didnt select him because of "climbing attitude".

pity, i wanted him to get in very badly.

but can't argue against irwan man. the decision is final.

HOPE.

that is a word that we need right now.

as i think everyone knows, we need money.

put in our situation, without any school support, we have to hold our own.

so many things to pay, so little money.

with the huge debt we owed, we knew we had to find a solution or risk digging into our parent's pockets even deeper.

then this came along.

this, this dot of light on the horizon.

the chance that presented itself in front of us that we knew we had to grab.

1st prize $2000, 2nd prize $1500, 3rd prize $1000.

with that kind of money, we would be able to not only clear our debt but use it to sustain our club for months to come.

CARE BEARS:

this is kinda retarded.

i dont remember watching care bears when i was young.

maybe the only fact i remember is that they can shoot out beams from their stomachs.

and they live on clouds?

but what is the meaning behind a care bear?

representing all that is pure and innocent inside us, they use the forces of goodness to overcome evil.

somehow this cult fiction has a long-lasting effect on girls especially,

even up till the ages of 17, this liking for care bears has not worn off.

unlike guys who grow out of trends very easily,

some girls still think care bears are cute.

what is wrong with them? :P

i know, all that stuff about inner beauty, you argue.

of course i know that is true to some extent. a girl has got to have character and attitude.

but again, that beauty is inner. some people dont appreciate pictures of nude fat women,

even if it is considered as art or for charity. its just quite sick.

keep to the inner beauty please, i know it is quite mean.

had first j1 training at climbasia today,

not bad because we booked 8 highwall lanes and the bouldering gym was quite empty.

the turnout was quite good, about 30 people came?

i had 3 scouts in my group, all were from VS.

this batch somehow has a lot of scouts and a lot of people from VS.

which is good!!!!! but all of them IP.

managed to climb abit, but mostly it was just belaying j1s until about 7.

then TRAINING STARTED.

lasted till 9, quite satisfied with my performance.

saw sam climbing with her friends too, quite interesting..

PIG:

usually a word which girls use to describe boys who sleep too much, ive gotten that a lot. apparently pigs are supposed to be quite smart animals? damn i got nothing to write about pigs! but its the random word of the day, so yes.

i saw the hangboard yesterday, and i saw it today.

but there was something different about it today.

it was similar to something i saw on the highwall yesterday.

A HORNET'S NEST!

just nice, mr goh was walking past.

he heard all the commotion and asked what was going on.

we told him, and he used jewel's toothbrush to dig the nest out.

i thought it would just be an empty nest,

but no there were GREEN MAGGOTS living inside.

all of them spilled out into the box i was holding.

quite the sick thing, i must say.

pe today was quite crazy.

CHOCOLATE:

chocolate is nice. theres something about chocolate that's, romantic? because it always pops up on events like valentine's day. somehow somebody thought it good for guys to give girls chocolates, or girls to give other girls chocolates, or maybe even girls giving guys chocolates :/

i received this huge ass bar of chocolate on valentine's day, even though i spent it alone. along with half the world's population? i dont know. i wonder how long i am going to take to finish that bar. i started eating it today :)

today's 1st climbing training was quite a success i think.

apparently the guys were much stronger than us when we first started.

i can still vaguely remember the state i was in when i entered vj.

definitely not very strong, even though i was known for my biceps? among my friends.

we couldnt even boulder properly, i didnt even know how to do the routes on the school wall.

but now.. hehe

i like climbing!

FUN.

what is fun? fun is really relative, for some people fun might be reading books. for others it might be tree hugging or taking care of the earth. however for me i know that fun is climbing. i used to not know the answer to the question:" what do you think is fun?" i really feel so bad for those people who cannot answer that question. i know the answer to that now. the answer is CLIMBING. i have felt enlightenment!!
